ffxv pc release

While we always thought it would, Square Enix have now confirmed that a super-powered version of the ffxv pc release will arrive in 2018. The original had a lengthy and turbulent development process but was well received when it finally released. It has also gone on to be updated with several bold DLC packs that have transformed it from an interesting Final Fantasy title into a wonderfully strange online multiplayer game.

Square Enix is trying to get Final Fantasy XV on every platform under the sun. It’s already running on PC with some visual upgrades, and a mobile edition is arriving at some point with a truncated chibi graphical style. But the Switch is another issue entirely.

Right now, Square Enix is set on putting the fully-featured XV on Nintendo’s latest console, but they ran into problems getting the proprietary Luminous Engine to run. The solution? It might be Unreal. Talking to Eurogamer, Director Hajime Tabata stated that they’re in talks with Epic to see “what could possibly do there,” in terms of using the engine or possibly even partnering up.

  1. This design is wicked! You certainly know how to keep a reader entertained.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost
moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Fantastic job.

I really loved what you had to say, and more
than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
